The Cartoon Grammar book is great for visual learners. Cartooning funny
cartoons are apart of all of the worksheets. Kids understand better when they are
drawing the sentence concept. A while back a teacher friend of mine told me a
story about her use of Cartoon Grammar. She said, one day in a teachers meeting,
a teacher commented that some
of her students were getting the grammar ideas,
and other were not. My friend, who had taught some of the kids, asked the teacher
if some of the kids were drawing a little bear. The other teacher said yes.
